Actions speak louder than campaign promises
Anyone can make promises during election season. I'd rather show you what I've actually done. After 15+ years on Town Council, my record speaks for itself.
Our town's water system is the backbone of everything we do—every home, every business, every family depends on it. I've overseen major upgrades to our water treatment plant and lift stations, ensuring clean, reliable water for decades to come. These aren't glamorous projects, but they're the kind of essential investments that responsible leadership requires.
I made the motion to establish our town's first formal Parks & Recreation Department. This wasn't just paperwork—it means dedicated staff, proper funding, and long-term planning for our green spaces. I also helped establish a capital park fund so we can make smart investments without raiding the general budget.
Our police officers put themselves on the line every day. I've consistently supported investments in modern equipment, technology upgrades for faster response, and proper support for our reserve officers. When our officers have what they need, our families are safer.
Sometimes the best ideas come from listening. Residents asked for leaf collection for years, and I helped make it happen. It's a small thing that makes a big difference in quality of life—and shows that Town Council actually listens.
Families need places to play. I supported adding pickleball and basketball courts at Memorial Park because our parks should serve everyone—from kids to seniors. Recreation keeps our community healthy and connected.
I've made appointments to our Tree Board because I believe in protecting the natural character of our town. Trees aren't just pretty—they clean our air, reduce flooding, and make our neighborhoods more livable.
Your tax dollars matter. I've supported budget reductions where appropriate and negotiated better terms on contracts like waste management. Fiscal responsibility isn't about cutting everything—it's about spending wisely on what matters.
I don't just show up to vote—I show up to lead. I regularly make motions, not just second them. I handle the unglamorous work: reviewing claims, approving minutes, making sure the machinery of local government keeps running. And I'm there for virtually every meeting, because that's what you elected me to do.
I've earned your confidence through action. Let's keep building together.
